- This is an experimental shot to determine if seismic energy can be efficiently directed downward as opposed to being directed laterally as in the case for long columns of explosives in boreholes. The experimental shot adjacent to a previous large single borehole shotpoint used in the 2003 PVF experiment. 198 Texans will be located along previous lines
