How do I request restricted data?
I want to access restricted data, but can’t. What can I do?
Answer
Restricted data access is managed through the identity management system.
First, you must log in (creating an account if necessary) using the email address you would like to associate with your data usage.
From your user data access page, you can view your current restricted data access, and request access to additional networks or experiments.
When you submit a request, the relevant PI or network administrator will be notified and guided to review your request.
If your request is approved, you will be notified and the requested network or experiment will appear in your list of available restricted data.
At this point, you can use a number of request tools to make your data request. EarthScope Web Services and ObsPy currently support restricted data access for miniSEED data.
